Uno de los mayores honores que una familia puede confiar a un fotógrafo es documentar el tiempo con su bebé recién nacido. Es un período vulnerable y hermoso para familia y, como cualquier madre puede decirte, los días son increíblemente fugaces. Elegir a alguien para documentar eso y confiar en su visión y estilo es un gran honor. 

Mi visión para este gran momento es captar esos primeros días de la forma más natural posible, y es por ello que las casas de las familias me parecen la mejor forma de hacerlo. Es un espacio ideal no solo por la comodidad de no tener que trasladarse en esos días de continua adaptación, sino también porque la familia recordará siempre todo tal y como era en ese momento.

Esta sesión es de unos días después de la llegada de Ayla a casa. Sus hermanos mayores estaban tan emocionados que no querían separarse de ella ni un solo segundo. Incluir a todos y cada uno de los miembros de la familia en este día para mí es absolutamente necesario, recordar esos primeros días, mirando al bebé una y otra vez, y ver sus caras de asombro al observar lo pequeña que es comparado con ellos es lo realmente importante de ese momento.

One of the greatest honors a family can entrust a photographer is to document time with their newborn baby. It's a vulnerable and beautiful time for families, and as any mom can tell you, the days are incredibly fleeting. Choosing someone to document that and trusting their vision and style is a great honor.

My vision for this great moment is to capture those first days in the most natural way possible, and that is why family homes seem like the best way to do it. It is an ideal space not only because of the convenience of not having to move during those days of continuous adaptation, but also because the family will always remember everything as it was at that moment.

This session is from a few days after Ayla arrived home. Her older brothers were so excited that they did not want to leave her side for a single second. Including each and every member of the family in this day is absolutely necessary for me, remembering those first days, looking at the baby over and over again, and seeing their shocked faces when observing how small she is compared to them. what was really important about that moment.
